CNC Turning Services

Home to some of North America's largest high-precision CNC turning capabilities

Overview

Our Industry-Leading CNC Turning Capabilities

CNC turning is a machining process used to create cylindrical parts by removing material from a rotating workpiece with a stationary cutting tool. It involves the use of a computer-controlled mill-turn machine that precisely cuts and shapes the material. The workpiece is clamped onto the rotary table and rotated at varying speeds while cutting tools remove material to create the desired shape. CNC turning is commonly employed to produce intricate components for industries such as automotive, aerospace, and electronics, enabling high precision, efficiency, and consistency in manufacturing operations.

Baker Industries is your one-stop source for all of your high-precision CNC machining needs, including CNC turning services for parts up to more than eight feet in diameter. Our facilities are home to over 65,000 square feet of temperature-, vibration-, and access-controlled machining space and a large and diverse collection of cutting-edge CNC equipment, including some of the largest machines in North America.

We’ve spent the past 30+ years investing in the latest technology from all over the world, growing to become one of the continent’s leading providers of high-quality CNC turning services for a wide variety of industries and demanding applications.

We excel at developing and applying advanced manufacturing solutions to meet the complex needs of our customers and the precise tolerances they demand. We plan and schedule work to meet strict deadlines and tackle some of the industry’s largest and most challenging projects.

Our skilled team of machinists, many of whom have been with the company (and their machines) for more than 20 years, are all programmers and operators, reducing downtime and ensuring that our equipment is operated to its full potential.
