Important Notice Regarding Personal Information and Export-Control Regulations

As part of our commitment to providing a safe and compliant event, we need to share some important information with you regarding the following registration questions.

Baker Industries, a Lincoln Electric company and a participant in this year’s Seminar, operates as a defense contractor. This brings our Baker Industries facilities under the scope of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), overseen by the U.S. Department of State’s Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC), as well as other export-control regulations enforced by the DDTC and the Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS).

To align with these regulations, we must take careful steps to ensure that certain controlled technologies and technical data are securely managed, particularly around foreign nationals. This is a standard practice in the defense industry and is crucial for national and international security.
